Personal Insurance Sales Agent Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients, addressing their insurance needs and inquiries.
- Stay current and knowledgeable regarding carriers such as Safeco, Progressive, American Modern, Aegis, National General, Pure)
- Conduct market research to identify potential clients and develop strategies to reach them.
- Administer benefits programs, including enrollment and claims processing - Utilize telemarketing techniques to generate leads and schedule appointments with potential clients
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
Personal Insurance Sales Agent Qualifications:
To be considered for the Personal Insurance Sales Agent position, applicants should:
- 5+ years’ experience in commercial insurance
- Must have current P&C License
- Must have a strong communication skills and customer service
- Must be a self-starter
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent customer service abilities, with a focus on building relationships and providing solutions
- Proficient in using technology and software systems for data entry and record keeping
- Knowledge of insurance products, policies, and regulations
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks simultaneously
